This Data Processing Agreement describes how personal data is processed on behalf of Polished Lounge ID (“Data Controller”) by its website provider or related service providers (“Data Processors”).

2. Purpose of Processing

Personal data is processed only for the following purposes:

Operating and hosting the salon’s website
Handling enquiries submitted through contact forms, WhatsApp links, booking requests, or social media
Storing information needed to respond to customer messages
Running advertising and analytics through Google Ads and Meta Ads
Ensuring the website functions properly and securely

No data is used for any purpose other than delivering and improving the salon’s services.

3. Categories of Data Processed

Depending on user interaction, the following data may be processed:

Name
Email address
Phone number
Message or enquiry content
Booking details
IP address (via analytics tools)
Device and usage information (for ads/analytics)

No sensitive personal data is intentionally collected.

4. Duration of Processing

Personal data is processed only for as long as needed to:

Respond to enquiries
Provide booked services
Comply with applicable business or accounting requirements

Data may be deleted earlier upon written request, unless required for lawful reasons.

5. Obligations of the Data Processor

Any service provider acting as Data Processor agrees to:

Process data only according to documented instructions from Polished Lounge ID
Keep all personal data confidential
Implement basic and reasonable security measures
Not share or reuse data for their own purposes
Notify Polished Lounge ID of any significant data incident affecting customer information

6. Sub-Processors

To operate the website and provide advertising/analytics, the following may act as sub-processors:

Website hosting provider (e.g., hosting company or CMS provider)
Google LLC — Analytics & Ads
Meta Platforms, Inc. — Ads (Facebook & Instagram)

These sub-processors may process data on servers located outside Indonesia, protected by their own security standards and policies.

Polished Lounge ID does not share customer data with any other third parties.

7. Security Measures

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal data, including:

HTTPS encrypted connections
Secure hosting environment
Access controls for administrative accounts
Regular platform updates
Staff awareness regarding responsible data handling

8. Rights of the Data Controller

Polished Lounge ID may request documentation from the Data Processor to verify compliance with this Agreement.

If needed, the Data Controller may request an inspection or review of data handling practices.

9. Termination & Data Handling

If cooperation between the parties ends, Polished Lounge ID may request:

Deletion of all stored customer data, or
A copy of the data in a readable format

Deletion or export will be completed within 30 days unless otherwise agreed.

10. Liability

Each party is responsible for complying with applicable Indonesian laws regarding personal data.

The Data Processor is liable for any misuse or unauthorised handling of data carried out outside the instructions of this Agreement.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Indonesia.

Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of Indonesian courts.
